Peggy’s Cove Glass, located in the coastal village of Seabright, Nova Scotia, is where artist Kelly Lowe and her talented team create hand-blown glass inspired by the beauty of our surroundings. Our passionate artists draw inspiration from their love of creating and the ever-changing landscape, seasons, and culture of Nova Scotia.

Visitors are always welcome to explore our on-site gallery, where they can browse a wide selection of unique glass pieces and watch our artists at work as they blow glass right in the studio. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that brings you closer to the art and the energy behind each creation.

Kelly Lowe discovered her passion for glass almost three decades ago while studying at Sheridan College. The intensity and immediacy of working with molten glass sparked a lifelong dedication to the craft.

After years of mentoring and collaboration with artists in Southern Ontario, Kelly accepted a decade-long glassblowing residency at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. Eventually, the pull of the East Coast led her to Nova Scotia, where she founded her dream studio in 2023: Peggy’s Cove Glass.

Kelly’s love for the hot shop remains at the heart of her work, but she’s equally passionate about collaborating with clients. Helping them bring meaningful, personal ideas to life in glass. She takes pride in exceeding expectations and delivering pieces that truly resonate.

Looking ahead, Kelly continues to push creative boundaries, explore new techniques, and grow Peggy’s Cove Glass as a destination for both functional and fine art glass.

Luke Peters is a skilled glassblower with over a decade of hands-on experience in traditional glassmaking. He began his apprenticeship in 2013 at NovaScotian Crystal, where he trained in the art of hand-blown crystal. After completing his apprenticeship in 2018, Luke continued to hone his craft at NovaScotian Crystal until 2021.

He then brought his expertise to Kingston Glass, contributing to a variety of unique pieces that showcased both technical precision and artistic creativity. In 2023, Luke joined the team at Peggy’s Cove Glass, where he continues to explore artistry, tradition and a passion for glassmaking.

At Peggy’s Cove Glass, we create a wide range of handcrafted glassworks—from everyday functional art to extraordinary statement pieces.

Our collection includes:

  • Elegant glasses, bowls, and vases
  • Nautical-inspired décor such as glass buoys, lighthouses and sailboats
  • Stunning, one-of-a-kind art pieces that capture the essence of Nova Scotia

Every item is designed to reflect the colours, textures, and moods of the East Coast, making each piece a beautiful and meaningful keepsake.

We also collaborate with clients to design and create private commissions pieces, corporate awards and gifts and memorial art.

Each piece of Peggy’s Cove Glass is thoughtfully hand-blown by Kelly Lowe and her team using traditional glassblowing techniques passed down through generations. We transform molten glass into timeless art, infusing each creation with care, precision, and a deep connection to the natural world around us.

Our designs are inspired by the rugged coastline, the power and calm of the ocean, and the quiet beauty of Nova Scotia’s landscapes—from the iconic rocks of Peggy’s Cove to the warm hues of an autumn forest trail.

We don’t just make glass. We capture moments, memories, and essence. When you take home one of our pieces, you’re bringing with you a piece of Nova Scotia, a lasting tribute to its beauty and a heartfelt connection to the place we’re proud to call home.

Each glass piece we create is a one-of-a-kind work of art, and we handle it with the care it deserves. From our studio, every order is meticulously packaged using proven methods and protective materials to ensure it arrives intact.
